When you’re sittin at the table
There’ll be time enough for counting

  2. Im trying so hard to understand Texas Holdem, but I just dont get it… So many terms I dont know, all the betting and rounds. I just cant seem to wrap my head around it.

    1. Play straight stud poker or draw. TxHoldUhm isnt poker. its bassackwards. The antithesis of poker. Canasta is a better game, seriously. Go Fish is better.

  3. Million Dollar Potential in Ruvol

I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that is guaranteed to be far more challenging and exciting than CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

Over time, Ruvol will surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

Why am I so sure about this? Because I am an avid chess player myself. The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It’s for this reason I invented Ruvol where every game is always challenging and exciting to play.

    HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED?

Ruvol is played somewhat like chess. I purposely invented Ruvol to give chess a direct “apple-to-apple” competition.

Like chess, Ruvol is played by two players. It uses a board that is rectangular in shape but containing more number of squares than chess. Like chess, it has equal number of pieces on each side of the board, where each type of piece moves in distinct ways. However, if the way to win chess is to checkmate the opponent’s king, the way to win Ruvol is to be able to cross a designated line.

But there’s one biggest advantage Ruvol has over chess that makes Ruvol a very challenging game to play. What is this? Unlike chess, the Ruvol pieces are randomly placed at the start of every game which makes it impossible for any clever player to memorize the moves. Fischer Random Chess, also known as Chess960, likewise introduced a random set up, but with many exceptions. Ruvol is 100% random.

At present, there is no other board game in the world within the same category of chess “where chess players can switch to.” Chess is totally a monopoly in its class. With the coming of Ruvol, chess has finally found its match!

A MILLION DOLLAR POTENTIAL IN RUVOL

In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. These 800 million players comprise the “Total Potential Buyers” of Ruvol across the globe. At an average profit of just US$3 per set, the “Global Income Potential” of Ruvol then is US$2.4 billion. Assuming only 1% of it will buy each year, the annual global potential sale of Ruvol is US$24M.

I AM SELLING MY COPYRIGHT TO RUVOL.

For the reason that I don’t have the resources to publish Ruvol on a global scale, I find it “wiser” to simply sell my copyright.

If you’re interested to buy my copyright, email me your BEST PRICE OFFER—[the copyright goes to the most reasonable bid]. My email address is: [email protected]. [Or perhaps you can help me find a buyer, and I’ll reward you with a commission.]

    Thanks and God bless!

    1. @pokernewsdotcom well if it’s for beginners you should start off speaking in plain language,
The presenter is being over technical And not leaving much time after a sentence for the person to digest. She is speaking in a anxious manner which is not good for beginners. The bottom line is I went to another YouTube channel that explained poker perfectly right after this video. Overall it was overwhelming for a beginner. Cheers

    2. In what way? We are going to re-produce this kind of content. What would you like us to show? How would you like us to improve?

    3. How would you like a video to explain the game when we re-produce this kind of content?

    1. @Coryalan2 Its lying by betting when you have a mediocre or poor hand in an effort to get your opponent to throw his hand away

    2. Trying to get the other players to believe you have a great hand when you don’t…try to influence them to fold

    3. It’s when you told your teacher you did your homework but left it at home.

  9. In * * SUITS * * ALL IS THE SAME TILL 1:16 / There is no blinds in * * SUITS * * every player put in a ante that is agreed on at start of game / In * * SUITS * * Each player is dealt three cards ( the three in the hand ) from which each player is trying for the most of one suit, SUITS are in order of strength HEARTS, SPADES, DIAMONDS AND CLUBS 2D 1H is stronger then 2C 1H , The three hand cards are dealt face down to each player, / After assessing the strength the first round of betting takes place, Dealer is the last to act and cant be raise / In * * SUITS * * the next three cards are dealt four different ways on a four hand rotation, FACE UP, COMMUNITY, FACED OWN and OPEN HAND / The first to act is the player left of dealer, this player can check, raise fold, if the next player raise then all other players see raise or fold, when it get to Dealer THEY make the last move, see any raise and ends the round of betting OR may make the last raise of round. / In * * SUITS * * the player will need to play to the way the hand is dealt as much as to the other players actions, In FACE UP the dealer deals One card face up in front of each player ( even if the player folds ) all see the table but the card in front of you is yours only, then the second round of betting take place. The dealer deals the second table card followed by the third round of betting, then the third table card followed by the final round of betting. ( the three on the table ) / After all betting is done the player with the best six card hand wins ( player 1 has 5D 6D 7D that are active cards the second player has 4C QC AC 4H 8H KH HOW WINS / After ever hand all players show their active cards only. ( ex. 5D 6D 7D are active the 2C 6S QH are inactive ) got question player one has a RUNNING DIAMOND TRIANGLE player two has a CLUB – HEART PARTY PACK party pack wins. / Now that is one of the four ways it is dealt. WISH TO KNOW MORE reply and ask me

    1. @pokernewsdotcom i’ve figured it out on my own using trial and error but for future viewers i would recommend a longer more explained video this one felt kinda rushed. but everyone learns differently. i’m a visual learner so the could also help others like me

  11. Maybe Poker just isnt your game. I KNOW LETS HAVE A SPELLING CONTEST !

  12. Great vid, just a quick question. If the big blind is 1000$, is the minimum raise: call 1000$ and then actuall raise 2000$ or call 1000$ and then raise 1000$?

    1. Supposing the BB is $2; and the next player decides to raise – the minimum raise is $4 – but decides to raise to $5, the next legal raise is to $8 as the difference between the BB and raise bet is $3. People often mistake raising with doubling the existing bet; the raise has a structure.

    1. With having autism I dont know how I ever learn how to run a poker table and I did… praise the Lord

  17. One question: after the first round of betting, what should be the minimum bet of the first player in the new round? Like the game minimum or do you have to take the previous round into account? Guess the first one…

    1. Usually double the amount of your initial ante. At least that’s how it works where I play. So if you bet $10 and then decide to bet on flop, your bet has to be double. So $20

  18. who else came wanted to learn card games cause of kakeguri? just me ok.

  19. MatusowIvey didnt get first comment cos he was too busy learning how to play ahahahhahahaha.

  20. For some reason i forgot about poker and just jerked off?

    1. @pokernewsdotcom Well my casino poker dealer friend is also teaching me so he clarified the 3 questions but one of them was: does the call size minimum change once a player raises it or does it stay the same amount from what the big blind originally bid?

    2. What specifically was unclear? We are planning to produce updated content like this.

  21. Ive played poker for 40 years. Texas born and raised. Texas holdem is a horrible game. How it caught on…I have no idea. We play dealers choice of game and whenever someone says Tx hold em or OMAHA….everyone groans. Stud is the best game, even draw…and the subtle variations of them. We always play two deck choice. Dealer can choose a joker or non-joker deck and they are only good on Aces, straights, flushes…7 player 7 card stud…there isnt a better poker game on the planet. 5 card stud with a community card is great variation of the already bullet-proof 5 card stud game. 5 card stud is the poker players game. But in this version…First dealt gets 3 cards, the rest two. He chooses from those three the community card and calls a high or low game. Low game jokers = 0. Each player then turns over one card, the rest dealt up for 4 total…1 down, 3 up…then using the community card. Draw poker we commonly do three betting rounds version. Open and TWO draw rounds, but your replacement cards are dealt face up. First round you can get two, second 1. If you dont take any cards…none are shown…for example. You cant take 4 or 5 cards in this version. 3 max. The price you pay for taking cards…is everyone gets to see them. Great game. With all of this said…we have to have 7 per table play and not LESS than 7. 7 players. Not 6 or 8 or more or less. 7. Exactly. No limit. Or they have to wait or we play dominos…lol. Someone says Texas Hold Em we just ask em if they want to play blackjack or roulette. Texas HoldEm…aint poker. Never was, never will be. Farce.

  22. I shouldve never stopped playing this game. I cant even follow right now.

    1. Ignore Frames reply. It is unhelpful. Lets say you hold Ace King. The 5 cards on the table are 6-7-8-9-10. You have a straight. The Ace King are not helping. Of course, EVERYONE has a straight, and if someone has a jack, they have a BETTER straight. If someone has Queen jack, they have the BEST straight (assuming no flush can be made.

    2. In the showdown you have two cards plus three cards from the five that are face up on the table.

    1. You either fold, or go all-in with all the chips you have. If you have no chips, you shouldnt be playing anyway

  23. Who is she? I purposely wrote that to start the conversation even though I can google her.

  24. This makes absolutely no sense to a beginner ! If any one knows of any videos that actually break it down and explains terms please let me know ! This was not helpful at all!

    1. @Johnny Ryan No one can halp you if you dont tell them what you dont understand. You claim to have watched one of the most basic videos, didnt understand it, I offered help, and you call me names. Seems about right……

    2. @CowSaysMooMoo if you understand English than you should be able to understand I asked for video recommendations, not advice from condescending assholes ❤️❤️

    3. If you understand English, it makes sense. Your comment leads me to believe your English is pretty good, so, what parts do you not understand and I will explain it more simply?

  25. I discovered a great collection of videos that may help on Card Crusher Fixer

  26. I was saying at a home game two days ago that if you watch an older poker episode like when Raymer or Moneymaker wins, the show would always tell you the basic rules to NL Hold em. However if you watch a new one now like poker after dark, they do not and its up to you to learn the game. This video may get some views for newbs learning to play.

  27. Whatever happened to the old school 5 card draw? Thats essentially what were playing here. Which is why I dislike Texas holdem. I could have more like cards (for better lack of words)but you will still win cause your card is higher… For example: dealer lays down 2,8,9,10,J. I have 6,7 and you have 3,Q. Even though I have more (like) cards to create the flush you win cause of your Queen. I dont like that.

  28. I am sure I’ve seen other videos explain this but for some reason, I completely get it now!
